Natural & consideredofferings at end of life.
‘Wrapped in Love’ has evolved out of a desire to provide natural offerings that are sustainable, locally made and biodegradable at the end of your life or a loved one’s life.
All natural and biodegradable
Our shrouds are made from natural fibres and sewn locally or in New Zealand.
They are made to gently wrap your loved one after they have died and include ties and a small pillow. The ritual of shrouding your loved one can be a deeply loving and healing experience.
It is one of the oldest and most intimate ways for families and loved ones to quietly and gently prepare for burial or cremation.
Weaving Nature Shroud Cradles – designed and made by Zimmi Forest – Northern NSW
Our shroud cradles are made from vines harvested in NSW.
They have a rigid flat timber base and handwoven edges and are used for transporting a person wrapped in a shroud to either a natural burial or cremation. They are an alternative to a traditional coffin and have rope handles for carrying.
Hand crafted timber urns and calico pouches
Handcrafted timber urns and calico pouches
Our timber urns are created by Bryan Ramage from The Morpeth Men’s Shed. Each Urn is made from raw Australian timber and can be engraved with images or text.
Calico pouches by The Shroud Makers Dungog are a sustainable choice for keeping or burying ashes. They fit perfectly into the Held in Love Timber Urns. They come with or without lace and are double lined.
